Description

The importance of the product

Sodium and chlorine free premium EC fertilizer.
Zinc is an essential micro-nutrient for people and for crops both. Upon failure to supplement zinc deficiency, besides damaging the vegetative organs, the development of generative organs and the cell division is disturbed. Zinc (together with boron) plays a crucial role in the seed production of table grapes and wine grapes, and as a result of zinc supply, photosynthesis becomes more effective and the yield increases. Zinc acts as growth regulator for orchards (stone fruits, /not recommended for plum/, apple, tree nuts, berries), deficiency of zinc results in branch decline, poor blossom and poor crop production. The Zinc assists in the leave sizing attribute in the plant’s life cycle. Bigger leaves equal better ability to produce photosynthesis and therefore can create a better yielding and producing crop.
Alkali soils are generally deficient in zinc, it may develop in sandy, alkaline, cold, drought or too wet soils. High soil phosphorus levels have been known to induce zinc deficiency. Zinc deficiency appears to be the most widespread and frequent micro nutrient deficiency which may cause up to 20% loss in crop, before the detection of any signs of the deficiency. Zinc fertilization is necessary to replenish zinc removed by high-yielding cultivars.
Cereal crops, maize, flax, bean, sugar beet, potato, tomato and alfalfa react by quite significant crop losses to zinc deficiency. By the application of zinc in the case of rape, significant root mass increase can be achieved; roots penetrate to deeper soil layers, thus rape is able to survive drier periods. Its application is recommended for bulb vegetables, poppy-seed, vegetables, furthermore for the sprout enhancement of ornamental trees and evergreens. In the case of soils with excess manganese content foliar application of zinc is especially justified. Zinc was found good in correcting Zn deficiency in bold size seed crops, in seed treatment to potato, in dipping rice or vegetable seedlings in 2-4% slurry before transplanting.

Recommended application

BioNove Zinc has been formulated for use on all crops, use a concentration of 0.5 to 1.5%. Avoid over-dosage of the product. Foliar sprays of zinc sulfate two to three times at 7-10 days interval just after appearance of its deficiency can control zinc deficiency more efficient and effectively. If deficiency persists then continue more sprays. It can be applied through standard ground or aerial application equipment. Fertilizer Zn requirement of crops was found to be double in coarse textured loamy sand soil than in fine textured loam or clayey soil for wheat and rice. Do no per-mix or store any fertilizer in diluted form and use promptly once opened. We strongly recommend a mixing test before dispensing it together with other foliar fertilizers or plant protection products. When combining with other chemicals, dilute first and then, add  BioNove Zinc to the tank last. It is recommended to use the mixture from the tank as soon as possible. In order to ensure the best efficiency, it is recommended to perform the treatments in cloudy periods, early mornings or late afternoons.
